Internships

ZviDance seeks an arts administration intern for an exciting season of new work, touring, education and production. The Arts Administration Intern will gain experience in operations, marketing, public relations, archiving and production within a small yet very active professional dance company. The intern will assist the Executive Director with producing events, marketing campaigns, database management and other pertinent work. The intern will also work directly with Zvi Gotheiner and his creative team on current projects. Internships are offered year-round.

MARKETING INTERN

ZviDance is currently seeking a marketing intern. Intern will work directly with the Executive Director on current projects and future projects.

Internship begins August 2016; length of internship varies from 6-months to 1-year depending on applicant’s level of interest and needs. The schedule and weekly hours are flexible. Applicants should live in the NYC metro area. Internships is unpaid and targeted towards those seeking academic credit or work experience in a growing arts organization. Benefits such as performance tickets and the opportunity to attend Zvi Gotheiner's daily ballet class are available.

Responsibilities Include:

• Generate and maintain marketing materials for print, press and web
• Design and send emails
• Create engaging content for social media marketing and for use on ZviDance's website
• Update website, Facebook and Twitter pages on a regular basis
• Candidates must be proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite of tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), Microsoft applications, Google apps, and basic website content management systems.

Responsibilities Include:

• Undergraduate degree or current university student preferred
• Superb attention to detail
• Responsible and efficient
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills (English)
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS excel, Adobe Creative Suite of tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and general internet proficiency
• Background in dance, music, theater, or performing arts is preferred
